The locations will be split into 3 sections; gyms, realms and Legendary and Mythical spawns (Ultra Beasts as well).

The Three Sections[]

Gyms[]

The 1st Gym is located in Pewter City, and is a Dark Type Gym. The gym leader is Percept, and he allows any Pokémon that is under Level 22 (so he only takes Pokémon leveled 21 & under). He uses a Sneasel, which is 4* weak to a fighting type.

The 2nd gym is located in Cerulean City, and is a Bug Type Gym. Sqwash requires a bit of a higher level than Percept does, but not too much, & if you talk to Sqwash after defeating him, he will give you a free Togepi. He has a Beedrill, so use fire types, and this Gym will be very easy. His cap is level 26.

The 3rd Gym is located in Vermilion City, and is a Steel Type gym. The Gym Leader, Sean, is homeless, so he is standing on the docks. He uses a Scizor, which is weak to fire. His cap is level 36.

Lavender Town is a town in between of Vermillion and Celadon. It notably has a static Spiritomb encounter and has the portal to Giratina. The Pokemon Tower has Cubone and Gastly, and has been taken over by the Dusk Syndicate. The offer lots of money for this point in the game and use fire types.

The 4th Gym in Celadon City, and is a Grass type Gym. Tyler is particularly tough, as fire and flying types will decimate him.

The 5th Gym is located in Fuchsia City, and is a Fairy Type Gym. Sasse is the Gym Leader, and some of his 5 Pokémon are Sylveon and Togekiss. Use Steel Type moves, along with Poison, to defeat the Gym Leader's Pokémon to make your way to Saffron City, where the Money Bot is. This gym and all gyms after this have no trainers, only leaders.

The 6th Gym is located in Saffron City, and is a Psychic Type Gym. The gym leader uses legends, such as Latios and Mewtwo, so beware! His ace, Alakazam, is level 65 and has high Sp. Attack and Speed.

The 7th Gym is located in Mount Cinnabar, and is a Fighting Type Gym. The Gym Leader is also homeless, he’s on top of the volcano. His name is Fear. He uses a Marshadow.

The 8th Gym is located in Viridian City. The Gym Leader only has a Level 85 Eternatus.

After you beat the 8 gyms, you battle the Elite 4, which is located at Indigo Plateau, or, you can go explore Johto and defeat THEIR 8 Gyms as well. An XP bot is located at every Indigo plateau.

The Kanto E4 (Lorelei, Ice; Bruno, Fighting; Agatha, Ghost; Lance, Dragon)use legendaries as their ace. Each member's Pokemon's level jump by 5 following the previous E4 member. The Champion is tough, using a Clear Body Metagross, Tyranitar, Alakazam, Slaking (without Truant), Garchomp and Arceus.

After you beat Elite 4, you can go to Pallet Town, and then head to Johto, but you can also head to Johto without defeating the Elite 4. You can even go to Johto without even having to defeat any Gyms, so you can defeat all 8 Johto gyms before you go to Kanto, but it is recommended you defeat every Gym before you do the Elite 4.

The 9th Gym is located in Violet City, and is a Flying Type Gym. Falkner is there, and he has a Pidgey & a Pidgeotto, so bring an electric, ice, or rock type. He allows for Pokémon leveled 21 & under.

The 10th Gym is located in Azalea Town, and is a Bug Type Gym. Bugsy is the Gym Leader, and has both Kakuna & Metapod, as well as Scyther, so bring a Fire Type Pokémon that knows at least 1 Fire Type move. He allows for Pokémon leveled 25 & under.

The 11th Gym is located in Goldenrod City, and is a Normal Type Gym. Whitney is here, & her 2 Pokémon are Clefairy & her infamous Miltank. Use Fighting Type moves for offense, and Ghost Type Pokémon if Whitney starts trying to use Normal Type moves, but Steel resists Normal as well.

The 12th Gym is located in Ecruteak City, and is a Ghost Type Gym. Morty, the gym leader, can be defeated with a Gengar evolved from Lavender.

The 13th Gym is located in Cianwood City, and is a Fighting Type Gym. Chuck is the gym leader, and he allows for Pokémon Level 62 and under, which is the same as the next Gym Leader, Jasmine.

The 14th Gym is located in Olivine City, and is a Steel Type Gym. Jasmine & Chuck have the same level limit.

The 15th Gym is located in Mahogany Town, and is an Ice Type Gym. Pryce leads, and I suggest taking a Fire type, Fighting type, Rock type, or Steel type to defeat him.

The 16th Gym is located in Blackthorn City, and is a dragon type gym. Clair requires quite a high Level for your Pokémon to be at max, Level 89 & under.

After you beat all of these gyms, you are pretty much done with the game. There is a Johto Elite Four at the moment, at a seperate Johto Indigo plateau. This E4, with Will (Psychic), Koga (Poison), Bruno (Fighting), and Karen (Dark), does not use legends. The champion is Lance, with non-legend dragons.

The Hoenn region is currently the newest region.

Roxanne, at Rustboro, has Rock types. The cap is level 26.

Brawly is at Dewford, and the teleporter to him is found on the route connecting Petalburg to Rustboro.

Wattson is located at Mauville and uses Electric types.

Flannery is found at Lavaridge by Mt. Chimney, and use fire types.

Norman is found at Petalburg and uses Normal type Slakings (without Truant). His gym has the Surf HM.

Winona is at Fortree and uses flying types.

Kate and Liza (in the Pokemon universe, Tate and Liza) are found at Mossdeep and uses Psychic types. Unlike the the games, they are single-battle opponents.

Wallace is at Sootopolis, and uses Water types. Surf is necessary to navigate Sootopolis.

The E4 at Ever Grande has Sidney (Dark), Phoebe (Ghost), Glacia (Ice), and Drake (Dragon). The champion uses a mized and varied team. All have no legends.
